As temperatures continue to rise in Nepal, eSewa is introducing the “Heat Protection Plan” to provide relief during extreme heat days. Under this initiative, selected users in four cities will receive financial support whenever the temperature reaches extreme levels.

What is the ‘Heat Protection Plan’?
The Heat Protection Plan is an initiative by eSewa linked with eSewa Care to offer quick financial relief during extremely hot days. If the temperature in your city reaches or exceeds a certain trigger level, you will automatically receive Rs. 250 in your eSewa wallet without initiating any claim process.

Claim Process
- No manual claim is required.
- If the recorded temperature in any covered city equals or exceeds the specified trigger level, Rs. 250 will be automatically credited to eligible users’ eSewa wallets within 7 days of the heat event.
Terms & Conditions
- This plan is available only for eSewa Care users.
- This plan is valid till October 31, 2025 only.
- No premium payment is required to be eligible.
- Around 1,000 users from the four cities will be selected based on their KYC location.
- Temperature data is sourced from the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM).
- Payouts are processed automatically and credited directly to users’ eSewa wallets within 7 days of the heat event.

यस योजना अन्तर्गत छनौट गरिएका चार शहरका इसेवा केयरका खरिदकर्ताहरूले तापक्रम अत्यधिक बढ्दा रु.२५० को आर्थिक राहत पाउनेछन्। कभरेज अवधिभित्र तोकिएको मौसम स्टेशनमा रेकर्ड गरिएको तापक्रम ट्रिगर तापक्रम बराबर वा त्योभन्दा बढी भएमा कुनै पनि दाबी प्रक्रिया सुरु नगरी स्वचालित रूपमा खरिदकर्ताहरूले आफ्नो इसेवा वालेटमा रु.२५० प्राप्त गर्नुहुनेछ।

- कुनै पनि म्यानुअल दाबी आवश्यक पर्दैन।
- यदि कुनै पनि कभर गरिएको सहरमा रेकर्ड गरिएको तापक्रम तोकिएको सीमा बराबर वा त्योभन्दा बढी भएमा, गर्मीको घटना भएको ७ दिनभित्रमा योग्य प्रयोगकर्ताहरूको इसेवा वालेटमा रु.२५० स्वतः जम्मा गरिनेछ।

तापक्रमको तथ्याङ्क Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) का सम्बन्धित सहरहरू नजिक रहेका मौसम स्टेशनहरूबाट लिइनेछ।

- यो योजना केवल eSewa Care का प्रयोगकर्ताहरूका लागि उपलब्ध छ।
- योग्य हुन कुनै प्रिमियम भुक्तानी आवश्यक पर्दैन।
- चारवटा शहरका करिब १,००० प्रयोगकर्ताहरू उनीहरूको KYC स्थानका आधारमा चयन गरिनेछन्।
